Swords castle was built for the first Anglo Norman Archbishop of Dublin, John Comyn in 1200. The castle is open Monday until Saturday 9.30 am - 4 pm. We recommend a guided tour to learn all about the history of this beautiful building and enjoy a walk the stunning grounds and surroundings.
